Box Steppin'

This is a Double Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 203)

Using "4" benches.
Front bench is horizontal, benches vertical on right and left side, inside corner of those benches touching the back corners of front bench (corners towards you not front of room). Back bench is in line with front bench and 3 feet from ends of side benches. Build first row first (everyone shares side benches), then second row starts with front row back benches (these now also become the 2nd row front bench. Keep building until room is set-up like one big "box".

You are now ready to begin with a left lead from the top.

A good thing to remind your students is you will switch to the next bench to your right when leading right and to your left when leading left. I find it easier if you tell them which bench to go over, etc., versus naming each bench (front, back, left, right, etc.); this confuses them too much.
NOTE: TEACH SLOWLY--they will pick it up and love it, my class does!
