This is a Warmup pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 816)

This is a Warmup for Step

  1. On Bench and Floor
  2. On Floor
  3. On Bench
  4. 4. On Floor (end result)

Remark to # 4. Start teaching everything on floor for the first few sessions increasing complexity as follows:

  1. 6 Alternating leg curls with 2 Squats
  2. 4 Alternating leg curls 'L' shape, 2 alternating leg curls behind bench, 2 Squats
  3. 2 Alternating leg curls, 4 alternate leg curls 'L' shape, 2 Squats
  4. Combine 2 & 3
Now they are ready to go up on the bench. I found that it was best to keep them squatting while I performed the first half of the combo, and again when I showed them the 2nd part. Do I make sense? Any comments welcome.
