Jordanian Jump
This is a
Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 530)
The step is in horizontal position. I'll name the steps and then explain
them in parenthasis.
- 3 - 3 combo (3 alternating back lunges, stay on top and do a repeater,
then walk down)
- 4 Grapevine overs (a grapevine is: cross step on to the bench, hop
over then walk down and cross on, etc.)
- 4 alternating step lift to the back (turn these in to 180 degree
turns if you won't get dizzy)
- U turn (half turn, straddle down, half turn, tap off)
- Z over (3 over the tops in a "z" pattern)
- 1 1/2 straddle hop turn ( use the 1/2 as a 180 hop turn)
May I suggest taking your time introducing these moves to your class.
Have fun with this. We do this at a fast tempo here in Jordan. Because
of this most of these moves are power moves. I'd love to here form you.
