This is a
Warmup pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 535)
Step warm-up finished product
Right foot lead - left side of step - face forward
- 1 x hustle
- 1 x mambo (on step)
- 1 x mambo pivot (on step 1-2,on floor 3-4)
- 1 x double step touch
- 1 x inside squat (left foot steps out to squat & closes back)
- 2 x tap up tap down*
- 32 count
- repeat left lead - right side
*use taps to teach, once pattern is set, first time through
- do 1 heel dig & 1 hip extension 2nd time
- 1 knee & 1 ham curl, third, 1 lateral & 1 inner thigh
To teach:
- Start with hustles, then 1 hustle & 2 mambos, then put the
mambos on the step, then 1 mambo and 1 pivot and repeat.
- Next add, double step touch with the squat 4 times then put the
2 parts together adding the tap up tap down so you can start over
on a left lead.
- Build the same way. When you get back to the right lead, that's
when you change the * parts.
- Once you have completed 3 set each side, do your stretches.
This works best with dancy music, I'm using power productions
Step 14, "Move Baby Move".
