Diane's "1/4 W Move"
This is a
Step pattern from

(pattern 1214)
Directional approach is: Horizontal.
32 count self-reversable.
1.
- 2 Alternating corner to corner hamstring curls (8 counts)
- 1 "1/4 W step": You are facing your step horizontally and you are
at the left end of your step, now do a knee up off the end, face the end
of your step and do 1 arabesque without a tap change. (8 counts)
- 1 Quick tap (8 counts) (Please email me if you want different
variations to this move.)
- 1 Over the top (4 counts)
- Walk around your step (4 counts)
2.
- 1 "Y-step" : You are facing your step horizontally, now just do an Out out,
In in on top of your step and do one basic downward and you are back up on
top. (8 counts)
- 4 Alternating back lunges (8 counts)
- 1 Repeater2 and march on the floor (8 counts)
- 1 Regular "W" step (8 counts)
3.
- 2 Basics (8 counts)
- 1 Repeater to a straddle (8 counts)
- 2 Alternating reverse hooks (8 counts)
- 1 Shooter (8 counts)
4.
- 2 V-steps (8 counts)
- 1 Knee up (4 counts)
- 1 Mambo on the floor, other way (4 counts)
- Walk up and back on the floor (8 counts)
- 1 Backfire (8 counts)
5.
- 2 Kicks on one leg (8 counts)
- 1 "T-step on the end": Up up straddle, one basic on the end (8 counts)
- 1 Basic facing the end of your step (4 counts)
- 1 Knee straddle (4 counts)
- 2 Alternating Over the top (8 counts)
6.
- 1 Repeater2 Horseshoe: Facing side of your step towards the back end of your
step, do a repeater 2 and walk back behind your step to go to the other side
(8 counts)
- 1 "L" step: Knee up off the end of your step (4 counts)
- 2 Alternating turning step touch on the floor (4 counts)
- 1 Bi-level Peg: Peg 1x, straddle 1x and mambo backwards (8 counts)
- 2 Alternating side abduction straddle (8 counts)
7.
- 2 Alternating "A-steps facing the side of your step" (8 counts)
- 1 Diagonal (4 counts)
- Walk back on the floor 4 counts)
- 1 "Grapevine Away": Your rear facing your step while doing this (4 counts)
- Walk back on the floor (4 counts)
- 1 Flamingo: Knee up straddle, Over the top one time (8 counts)
8.
- 2 Alternating turnstep (8 counts)
- Squat up on top of the step 1/2 a tempo (4 counts)
- March on top with that same lead leg (4 counts)
- 3 Alternating Side lunges and exit (8 counts)
- 1 Over the top (4 counts)
- 2 Jumping Jacks on the floor (4 counts)
9.
- 1 Repeater hamstring (8 counts)
- 1 Knee straddle (4 counts)
- 1 Corner to corner Knee up (4 counts)
- 1 Rock into a Reverse Hook: Do 1/2 of a Rocking horse and one Reverse Hook
(8 counts)
- 2 Alternating Over the top (8 counts)
10.
- 3 Alternating Inner thigh corner to corner: Touch in-step (12 counts)
- Walk around the step the opposite way (4 counts)
- Pegleg2x (4 counts)
- 1 1/4 Squat (4 counts)
- 2 Alternating Kick Straddle (8 counts)
