Simply Double
This is a
Double Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 1022)
- Over the Top 1x (4 counts)
- Walk to Park (other bench) (4 counts) (you should be facing left
side of room)
- 3 count repeater knee (8 counts)
- 3 count repeater side leg (8 counts)
- 3 count repeater hamstring (8 counts)
- Side leg straddle 4x - exit left (16 counts)
- Traveling 3 count repeater hip extension 2x (16 counts)
(you should be facing right side of room still on Park)
- Repeat entire sequence keeping in mind you will be facing the back
of the room on Jail when you change benches
Steps are: one horizontal and one vertical to the right, like a #7
This is a good simple routine that is easy to teach and great when you're in
a pinch.
The horizontal step I call Park, the vertical I call Jail.
I teach Multiple Step classes so I teach from single to quad step depending
on what I feel like (I just love creative freedom)
Anyway, I call my steps based on a Monopoly game board so that no matter
how many steps I use there is consistency on what they are called.
My steps are called Home, Park, Jail and Free.
