"Out-In March"

This is a Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 1113)

Bench is horizontal
Start with a right foot march on top of the bench, toward the right side of the bench. (Hold 'em here while you demo the move).

Right foot steps down (beat #1), left foot-step stays on the bench (beat #2), right foot steps back on the bench (beat #3), left foot step on top of step (beat #4). So the lead leg is the "OUT-IN" mover.

Then build the pattern as follows;

I usually add squats between the marches and the lunges on each side, then go back to the other side and do squat-abducts on each side, go back again and do 4-knee repeaters on each side. All of this is done on top of the bench so the first beat is always on the floor. I end the series by bringing them back to alternating lunges off the back, then doubling up the lunges 4x then to get off the bench 1x 3-knee repeater to a basic.

I save this as my last (signature) move of the class. Also try it with the music pitched between 112-118. This will emphisize the movement in the quads!

Thanks for all of your choreography, you've gotten me over those BURNED-OUT BLUES. So I had to give something back. Any questions? Don't hesitate to write! Tom S.
