Beth's Parallel Step

This is a Double Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 1123)

This is a double step pattern. The benches are vertical. They should be about 3 feet apart. Start in the center of the 2 steps.

Combination #1

Repeat leading left starting on other step

Combination #2

Repeat leading left starting on other step

Combination #3

Repeat leading left starting on other step

Combination #4

Repeat leading left starting on other step

* Inside loop is a move that is unique to parallel step. It's 2 turn steps - one on each step be sure to step down down in the center instead of down tap so you loop the in the center of the 2 steps.

** Variation to 3 knee repeat - 2 knee repeat with a mambo on top of step

*** Variation to 2 peg legs over the top - 2 knee repeat and scoot over the top

I keep taking patterns but I haven't added very many of my own. It's hard for me to add patterns now because most of my step combinations are variations on combinations from this site. That's why I added a double step pattern. This is fairly original. My classes love to parallel step! Hope yours like it too. Keep steppin' Beth
