Combo #1
Start on left side of a vertical bench
- 4 Alternating kicks to each corner (16 counts)
- 1 Knee on bench (4 counts)
- 1 Mambo on floor (4 counts)
- 1 Pivot on floor (4 counts)
- March on the floor (4 counts)
- March on top of bench (4 counts)
- 3 Basic straddles starting right leg and hop up - moving back
on each straddle (12 counts)
- 4 Lunges off the end of bench (8 counts)
- 2 Side lunges (4 counts)
- Step off of the bench to right and 1 jack (4 counts)
Repeat 64 count sequence on the left leg but start on the right
side of the bench.
Combo #2
Use a horizontal bench
- 2 Alternating knees (8 counts)
- 4 Double repeater knees (24 counts) - tap on top of bench
instead of floor between double knees
- 4 Turnsteps (16 counts) - hop ball change on each tap down
- Over the top and march around (8 counts)
- 1 Glute lift and tap down (4 counts)
- On the floor do left heel dig, right heel dig, and hold left heel -
hop on heel digs (4 counts)
- Pivot (step, hop, turn) corner to corner (8 counts)
- March back and 4 jacks (8 counts)
- 2 alternating hamstrings starting on right corner (8 counts)
- 1 three ham repeater to center of bench (8 counts)
Repeat starting on left leg
I usually teach first part and second part separately in each combo
and then put them together.
