Around the World in 16 Counts
This is a
Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 656)
FOOT PATTERN
- Right foot lead step up on bench, knee up left
- Straddle down left making 1/2 turn as you go
- Left foot step up on bench, knee up right
- Straddle down right making another 1/2 turn as you go (you are now
on the end of the bench)
- Repeat both sides each time making 1/2 turn and you should end up
back where you started facing the front.
- You can add power by making the step up a hop up
- Repeat starting with a left lead going in the other direction
ARM PATTERN
- The arms for this can really be anything, but it works and looks best
if you have the participant envision shoooting a basketball into
a hoop.
People love this step. Just make sure you don't have them practicing it too
many times first as they might get dizzy!
Have fun. Step kicks are a great way to seque into your next pattern.
