Backwards Bop

This is a Step pattern from (pattern 679)

This pattern is called Backwards Bop because it has a number of reverse moves in it. There's a lot more of it than this, but here is the first combination.

  1. Y-step (Step out, out, like the beginning of a V-step, then in, in -- still on the step -- , then reverse basic) (8 counts)
  2. 2 Karate kicks (Down right, kick out left, up left, up right, then do it with a Left lead)(8 counts)
  3. Reverse Basic/Lunge down Right and Left (8 counts)
  4. Reverse Basic/Lunge down Right and Left (8 counts)
  5. Reverse V-step (Down right, Down left, up right, left like you're doing a V-step)(4)
  6. Lunge down with the Right foot 5 times, then exit to the floor (12)
  7. Four turnsteps (16)
Repeat the whole thing with a left lead. The total counts are 4 X 32.

It's something a little different, for those of you whose classes are getting bored with the same old steps!
