Skim The Top
This is a
Double Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 977)
Boards are placed in the "L" position. One horizontal in front of you
and one Vertical to your right.
There should be a comfortable Inside V step separating them.
- 1 X Knee Straddle Over
- 1 X Turn Straddle
- 1 X Knee up Tap down (16 counts) (back side front board)
- 1 X Hesitate (counts 1,2)
- 1 X Skim the top* tap down (counts 3,4,5,6,7,8)
- 2 X Over the top (can be changed to 2 half hops time permitting) (16)
- 1 X Long Hustle* (16 counts) (outside side board facing forward)
- 1 X Indecision (up 2 lunges exit)
- 1 X Half Hop
- 1 X Over the top (16 counts)
Repeat left foot lead on your side Board
*Skim the top--right foot, left foot front board, right foot left foot
side board turning toward the front of the room to step down and tap
down. So you: hesitate, 1, 2, skim the top, right left, right left, step
down right tap left, the long hustle starts left.
*Long Hustle--3 and a tap forward, 3 and a tap back--3 and a tap back,
3 and a tap forward
