Steps are 3 feet apart
CB = Change Bench
Open = Your working benches side to side
Open on the end = Same as regular Open, except your doing it end to end.
When done leading right, please repeat for left lead in order for you to
go back home.
The step you are on is your "Home Base", three feet behind you is your
"First Base", three feet to the right of first base is "Second Base"
and three feet above second base is "Third Base"
1.
- 1 Open repeater 2 and march on the floor (CB) (8 counts)
- 1 W-step corner to corner (8 counts)
- 1 Ricochet knee [do a step knee and walk diagonally] (4 counts)
- 2 alternating open hamstring (8 counts)
- 1 V-steps (4 counts)
2.
- 1 Basic (4 counts)
- 1 Knee up (4 counts)
- Face other way and chassee' forward 2x and walk around your
bench (8 counts total)
- 1 Double diagonal [diagonal CB diagonal again] (8 counts)
- 1 Over the top (4 counts)
- Squat the inside leg (4 counts)

- 2 A-steps facing the side of your step (8 counts)
- 1 Backfire (8 counts)
- Over the top (4 counts) and CB
- 2 Alternating open hamstrings on the end (8 counts) and CB
- 1 Knee straddle (4 counts)
4.
- 2 Side abduction on one leg (8 counts)
- Same leg do 1 repeater2 walk back behind your step to get to
the other side (8 counts)
- 1 Corner to corner quick tap (8 counts)
- 2 Alternating open inner thigh (8 counts)
5.
- Tap up tap down (4 counts)
- 1 Diagonal (4 counts)
- 1 Reverse skate and exit across [do 2 alternating step knee on top
and exit across the top] (8 counts)
- 1 Tap up tap down (4 counts)
- Do one knee back spin (4 counts) and CB
- 1 Flamingo (8 counts)
6.
- 1 Knee straddle (4 counts)
- 1 Corner to corner knee up (4 counts)
- 1 Shooter (8 counts)
- 1 L-step off the end (4 counts) and CB
- March on top of step [3rd base facing vertically] (4 counts)
- 3 Alternating side lunges and exit (8 counts)
7.
- 2 Alternating open turnstep [turn CB turn CB] (8 counts)
- 1 Over the top (4 counts)
- Walk around your step (4 counts)
- 1 Set of mambo forward and back (8 counts)
- Slide up with your inside foot (4 counts) CB
- 2 Jumping jacks on the floor (4 counts)
8.
- 3 Alternating open arabesque (12 counts) and CB
- 1 Hop turn (4 counts)
- Double over the top [over CB over] (8 counts)
- Walk forward towards your next step (4 counts)
- 1 Over the top (4 counts)
9.
- 1 W to a back up straddle [do an L-step off the end, reverse
knee straddle] (8 counts)
- 1 Broadway knee [do a knee up and walk back on the floor and
knee up again to go back to your step] (8 counts)
- 1 Knee straddle (4 counts)
- 3 Alternating open inner thigh (12 counts) and CB
10.
- 1 Up up, double squat and exit (8 counts)
- 1 Over the top (4 counts)
- Walk backwards to the next step (4 counts)
- 2 Kicks on one leg (8 counts)
- Walk around your step (4 counts)
- Squat the inside leg (4 counts)
Please note: Double-step, triple-step, Quadra-step or 4-step is not
recommended for novice or beginners. Please cue flawlessly.
Offer this type of class as a "Specialty class"
When in class - Introduce steps, cueing techniques, sample moves,
and introduce your neighbors.
