Warm up to a step beat again
This is a
Warmup pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 1679)
When doing a full step class I like to warm up to the same music I use for
the whole class. You simply want to warm the body in this portion of the
class...not get a work out like some people think.
- Grapevine x 3 and step touch x 2 (16 counts)
- Change this to a grapevine right, turn to face right wall, grapevine
left, going towards front of room and hooking around your step,
then go over the top of your step. Now step touch x 2
- Reverse
- Adding two basics left and two alternating step knee lifts (16 counts)
put together with the above this will be self-reversing.
- Now you can add 4 x mambo (pivoting on the third, 16 counts)
- Step and ham curl singles x 4
This is all self-reversing and makes a 64 count pattern when put together.
Run through it a few times and you are ready for some dynamic stretches.
