Vertical Reality
This is a
Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 1381)
**This is a fun combo for use with step in vertical position- change
of scenery!**
(Start at base of step right side right foot lead)
- Cross diagonal (4)
- Cross the top (4)
- Up & lunge right left right- off to right (8)
- Pivot over (4)
- One step knee (4)
- 6 Count turnstep (8)
- This is a left foot lead turnstep, which is really 2 turnsteps
joined together and syncopated by not bringing the right foot off
the step for the 2nd turn- just "stomp" on top with right
foot and go immediately into the 2nd turn - you can also just do 2
regular turnsteps
- This equals 32 counts-get this down then add on the rest:
- Heel/toe cross and jack 2x (16)
- Sometimes I teach this move in half time first
- Left heel taps step, left toe taps floor then left foot
goes back on step to cross the top, into one jack on the floor
on the other side, then repeat & you are back to where you
started and ready for the next and final move which is:
- Shuffle turn 2x(16)
- Left foot on step, right foot on floor it's about 3&1/2
marches that lead directly into a turn. Practice it by marching
left foot on, right foot off then 2 step touches with left foot
staying on top- then add the turn. Repeat it with right foot
lead and you will have completed another 32 counts and can repeat
the entire combo on the other lead foot!
It's fun- hope my directions aren't more confusing than my terminology!
