Heart Pumping Combo!!
This is a
Hi/Lo pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 1445)
Part 1
- (Begin with a right lead)
- Single,single, double side lunges (right, left, double right)
- Repeat with left leg lunging first (left, right, double left)
- Facing the right wall now, do 1 mambo with the left leg, do
1 double pivot turn with the left leg (now facing the front of the
room again)
- Coming out of the pivot,step on the left leg and alternate knees 4
times, starting with the right knee (right, left, right, left)
- On the last knee, go directly to the single, single, double lunges and
repeat this part with the left leading.
Part 2
- (You will be on the right lead again)
- Go into kicks moving forward 4 times (right, left, right, left)
- In place, kick out to the side 4 times (right, left, right, left)
- Moving backwards, kick to the back 4 times (right, left, right, left)
- Jumping jacks 4 times
- Side squats, going right first, 4 times
Part 3
- Moving forward, alternate knee lifts 4 times, beginning with the
left knee
- Moving backwards, alternate half-jacks, with left lead, 4 times
(low-impact jumping jacks:legs alternately touch out to the side)
- In place, do double kicks to the side 4 times, beginning with
the left again
Part 4
- Grapevine to the right
- Two left knees
- Grapevine to the left
- Two right knees
- Repeat part four
I like to do each part separately and then add them all together. They work
well together and it can really get your heart pumping. It can be done high
or low impact. I like to put a turn in the knees in part four also, it
makes them more fun!
