Spinning for Life
This is a
Cycling pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 2346)
After warm up introduce rolling hills. Gear up and down as appropriate.
- Seated climb for 30 seconds
- Standing climb for 30 seconds
- Sprint for 30 seconds
- Continue for length of song (5-7 minutes)
Also I have found breaking up a climb makes it more interesting.
- Seated climb (3-5 minutes)
- Standing run with resistance (2-3 minutes)
- Standing climb (3-5 minutes)
At the end of the ride while sprinting home sometimes I add in an
interval of jumps. 30 seconds sprint, 30 seconds jumps.
Remember Spinning is not supposed to hurt. Dont try to choreograph so much
Let your student ride with you "coaching" not instructing. You will be
happier and so will your student. Get off your bike and individually
help and motivate them
Happy Spinning!
