Kelly's Airplanes and Jacks

This is a Double Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 2367)

*** Steps should be set up in rows and columns, with an extra row in the front:
                   X X X X X (Extra to start)
*** Everyone starts immediately behind a vertical step (their home)

EXPLANATION:

Airplane:
This can be done with the bench in a horizontal or vertical position. Step up like a right basic (1, 2), next is two hops on top of the bench, making a 180 degree turn (3, 4), stepping down off the bench like the end of a right basic (5, 6), then one jumping jack to complete the 8 - count.

Street Walk
With bench in a horizontal position, step up like a right or left basic (1, 2), step off the bench on the other side (3, 4), one jumping jack (5, 6), and finally, a 180 degree pivot (7, 8)

** This combo sounds confusing, but my beginning class picked up on it really quickly. We had a great time!!

Kelly
