Keeping it Interesting
This is a
Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 2374)
- Kick (4)
- On the floor, turning over right shoulder, mambo cha, cha, cha (while
turning back facing the left wall) (4)
- Walk 4 steps around to the front of the step (4)
- Right foot leading..up, up and lunge right & left, exit right (8)
- Knee up straddle down, knee up exit left (8)
- Hop straight over the top (4)
- (Repeat combo with left lead)
- Right foot leading, up, up (like you are ready to do an l step) (2)
- Grapevine off the end of the step onto the floor (4)
- Face end of step walk, walk on the floor (2)
- Walk the bench** - right lead (explanation below) (4)
- You are on top of the step. 3 repeater knee then exit right (8)
- Travel...another 3 repeater knee (right lead) (8)
- 1 Basic left (to make more interesting...1 pivot turn) (4)
- (Repeat combo with left lead}
- 3 Repeater knee (right lead) (8)
- V-step (left lead)- to make more interesting, do the v-step
on the floor facing the back of the room...you will be turning
in a complete circle (4)
- 1 Knee up (left lead) then travel (4)
- Knee straddle down, knee straddle down (right lead) (8)
- Stay on floor in straddle position...(right lead) step leg
curl, step leg curl (4)
- Put your right foot on the step and kick one time..down,down (4)
- (Repeat combo with left lead)
** Walk the Bench - You will be coming up on the step from the end. Imagine walking in slow motion...Take a step with your right foot while
lifting your left knee up then step with left foot while your right knee
comes up in the air. This will be 4 counts. From there, you will then go
into your 3 repeater knee.
