Powerful plie squats*

This is a Body Sculpting pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 2436)

You can do this with or without a step

If you have a step put 1 or 2 risers under each side right leg comes up on top of the step and left leg is on floor - you are in a plie squat position (toes pointed out). From here you perform a plie squat

Then hold the bottom of the squat position, squeeze your glutes back
This is a small move your legs move back slightly to squeeze and then release forward, DO not press knees towards the center of your body: this will put mega stress on the knees

After you are done go back and repeat (a), then stretch and switch to the other side of the step with the left leg on top

This is great for the inner thighs and quads and glutes

*Can someone please add some upper body exercises? I'm starving for new ones!
