Attitude with Style
This is a
Funk pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 3111)
- Walk forward right, left (1-2)
- Kick right foot forward and shift weight to the left
stepping out wide (3&4)
- Kick left foot forward and shift weight to the right
stepping out wide (5&6)
- Hop/Jack feet go in out in (7&8)
- Slide diagonally back to the right (1-2)
- Hip shake (3-4)
- Slide diagonally back to the left (5-6)
- Hip shake (7-8)
- Walk to the right 3 steps then pose with an attitude and snap your
right hand up in the air overhead (1-2-3-4)
- Walk to the left 3 steps then hold to the front (5-6-7-8)
- Walk around in a circle with an attitude for 7
(1-2-3-4-5-6-7)
- Face forward and strike a pose on 8 (8)
Have fun with this pattern. To help the class out with the
attitude, I ask them to pretend that they are a guest on
one of those cheesy talk shows or that they are a teenager
again. You know your class, use what works to get them in the mood.
