Teletubbying Dutchie
This is a
Hi/Lo pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 3652)
This is a very short and very easy pattern, too easy even, but it
is gigantic fun teaching it to people who know the English (BBC)
childrens' program called "Teletubbies". It's all the rage in
Holland at the moment. Almost everybody knows Tinky Winky, Dipsy,
Laa-Laa and Poo.
Anyway, I was doing an improvised warming up (also a good cool down!)
and suddenly realised that I was doing the Laa-Laa. I assure you that
those who know the Tubbies will not forget this one.....
Here it is: The Laa-Laa
Right lead
- 2x Step touch (first face mirror; second face right wall)
(= L-step) (4)
- A-step (= backward V-step) (4)
- 2x step touch (first face right wall; second face mirror)
(= L-step) (4)
- A-step (= backward V-step) (4)
This spells L - A - L - A and when you yell it out loud you
get our dear tubby Laa-Laa.
I completed these 16 counts with 4 deep sqauts for a total of 32
counts before reversing it to left lead.
Have fun teletubbying !!!!!!!! Mail me anytime......
Hoi Hoi,
Your Dutchie,
Chantal
