Slanted Abs

This is a Body Sculpting pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 3686)

Put 3 blocks under one end, 1 block under the other end. The step is slanted, lie down on your back with the head up at the high end The resistance of the slant makes this difficult. Be sure they are not swinging their legs for momentum. Tell them to use their abs to initiate the movement.

Now switch positions, so your head is down the lower end:

Head is resting in hands, elbows bent out to the side, feet are planted on the high end of step, knees bent:

Again, the resistance of the slant gives you increased work!
