Twelve Days of Christmas Step

This is a Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 3687)

I have aerobically adapted The Twelve Days of Christmas, and it makes a really fun step routine. Give it a try for the Holidays!

Partridge in a Peartree

Two Turtle Doves

Three French Hens

Four Calling Birds

Five Golden Rings

Six Geese A Laying

Seven Swans A Swimming

Eight Maids a Milking

Nine Ladies Dancing

Ten Lords A Leaping

Eleven Pipers Piping

12 Drummers Drumming

**Note: This is a hard move to explain. Begin a regular turnstep, but each time your foot touches the floor, you go right back up on the step, not tapping down on the fourth beat. Count it in threes. Another good way to learen this is remember every step is on the opposite foot "right, left, right, left", whereas a normal turnstep is right, left, right, tap down. It makes a perfect 12 count. Hope you can get this part!

I hope you all teach this holiday combo wearing a Santa hat, as I did. Most people can't recite the entire 12 Days from memory, so it's best to teach the combo first, then tell them they are "milking" or "lords a leaping" They really laugh. Happy Holidays, aerobic folks!
