Go For the Burn

This is an Abs pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 3734)

You can start with the basic crunch, then count them down and get them to hold their shoulders off of the floor so the upper abs are really contracted. With the shoulders off of the floor get them to lift one foot off of the floor (knee is bent) bring the opposite elbow to that knee and hold it there throughout the whole exercise. Extend that other leg out front and lift and lower (up 2, down 2) To switch to the other side I will get them to hold both legs in the air and do some crunches to the center, then get them in position to do the other side.
