This is a
Hi/Lo pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 3794)
Each block is 32 count, reversible, and transitions smoothly.
- Alternating kicks forward (8)
- One box step + one V-step (8)
- Pony backwards (8)
- Double knee repeater and step touch (8)
(This puts you on the left lead leg to repeat block)
- Grapevine box (i.e., 2 grapes with a 90 degree turn) (8)
- Grapevine box (8)
- Jog in a big circle back into the box (8)
- Double knee repeater + Heel to front + knee up + rear lunge (8)
(The above repeater combo is all done with same leg. Substitute a
4 count repeater knee if you need to.)
(Reverse the combo with left grapevine boxes)
- Sixteen power mambo's. (32)
(Alternate single mambo's left side/right side, but instead of
a cha cha cha in-between, power the mambo by leaping up and
elminating the middle footwork.)
- Jog diagonally right corner up and back (8)
- Double rear lunges (right lead) (8)
- Jog diagonally left corner up and back (8)
- Double rear lunges (left lead) (8)
- Sixteen power hammer lunges (32)
(Step right and pivot to left leg back in rear lunge position.
Step left and pivot to right leg back in rear lunge position.
Power these lunges by adding plyometric jump on the pivot)
