"Twist and Shoot"

This is a Hi/Lo pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 3801)

These combos were actually extracted from a few girls trying to make a very simple pattern into something higher intensity and more fun to work with and teach.

**Twist and shoot consists of making a quick 90 degree turn, putting left or right foot out in front and then you bounce back immediately so you are facing front again (2 count). You must remember to tap off that grapevine right before going into the twist and shoot. The twist consists of two counts and the grapevine the other four. After twisting, you have to shoot. It's what I call "shoot the hoop." It consists of a calf raise while your arms are up in the air as if you are shooting a basketball.

A. 32 count

B. 32 count

C. 32 count

(this combo is broken down for next one) Repeat this with left lead

D. 32 count

(similar to last combo, added variety) Repeat D with left lead

E.

After you have gone through all, you can go back and repeat the second half of A, second half of B, and go through D two times switching leads. I tried to give you all an idea on how to break the patterns down. They obviously can be broken down even more. If you have any questions, please email me! Now "shake it up baby now. Twist and Shoot!"
