Flex Your Hips

This is a Body Sculpting pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 1937)

Best results will be attained using step, but it is not required.

Set up bench with two risers under one side and none on the other, so that the bench is lopsided. Sit on the higher end, facing sideways, with knees bent and feet flat on the floor. Slide backward and down (bench is slanted) until the bench is touching the backs of your calves. Place hands on the bench behind you to support your back. Keeping knees together, extend your right leg out straight, heel off the floor. This is the START position. Raise foot up about 4 inches and back to start position, keeping knee straight throughout the entire move. The weight of your leg as well as the slant of the bench provide you with the resistance. This lever length is not easy for these muscles, so have them try bending their leg a little before they quit!

At fatigue, repeat with the other leg.

Have Fun!!!! Don't quit until they beg!!!
