Kim's Jan 98 Double

This is a Double Step pattern from (pattern 1981)

Benches are vertical, three feet apart. Left bench is "left" and right bench is "right". Start is at the left side of left bench with a right lead. For step names you might be unsure of, explanation follows routine.

Block 1

Block 2

Block 3

Block 4

Block 5

Inside loop: turnstep, switch, turnstep, switch (you end up back where you started).

March on floor: You can add a directional change by having them march backwards for 2 counts and forward for 2 counts, I call this "back it up."

Pendulum: Up and hop on foot on step, other leg will swing out first, this will allow you to exit the same side you started on.

Cross, switch, cross, switch: Cross top of bench (long), turn and switch on floor and cross top of next bench (with same lead foot as the first cross), turn and switch on floor and come back to where you started on first bench (big circle).

Scissor kick: Foot comes up like you were going over the top but opposite leg steps behind lead and comes down on other side, repeat back with other lead.

Box step: Just like one on the floor. Outside foot comes to top of bench, other foot steps up behind it. Front foot comes to floor, next foot comes down and taps beside bench (this will enable you to do the next move).

Hope this wasn't too long. I like to explain moves so anyone who uses the routine isn't confused. In case some of you are wondering, I am the same Kim with the other multiples on the site. I've moved from OK to LA and have been too busy to submit any of my new stuff. Have gotten some great routines from you guys--thanks! Any questions, don't hesitate to email!
