Easy -- Honest!
This is a
Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 1900)
Part one:
- 2 Basic, right lead
- 1 Knee lift
- 1 L-step to the right
- 1 Repeater knee
- Over-the-top (long-ways) 1X
- L-step
- Repeat left lead
Part two:
- Single knee lifts to corners 2X
- 1 Repeater knee
- Repeat this, then change to:
- Single knee lifts to corners 2X
- 1 Repeater knee moving around the end
- Corner-to-corner
- Single knee lifts to corners 2X
- 1 Repeater knee around the end
- Corner-to-corner
- Single knee lifts to corners 2x
- 1 Repeater IN PLACE
Part three:
- 2 Basic right
- 2 V-steps right
- 2 Knee lifts (slow) left (right knee up)
- Over-the-top 1X
- Hop-turn 1X (pivot)
Part four:
- (After hop-turn)
- Turn-straddle-turn ("horseshoe")
- 4 Jumping jacks on the floor
- March up & back on the floor (8 counts)
- 2 A-steps
- (Repeat from horseshoe)
This is a good combo to teach in "chunks", adding one pattern at a time until all four are combined. At the end of part four, you can add turnsteps
before taking it from the top again.
