TKO Step

This is a Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 2613)

Boxing Step First I teach the combination with normal arms and legs, then I show the boxing technique. Each combination is a 32 count self-reversing pattern. The combinations are very basic, because the emphasis is on the boxing, not on choreography.

I find that using the boxing technique while stepping has made the students in my class sweat more, and get their heart rates up higher than by adding power moves or a lot of lunges and squats. This is a good alternative for those students who cannot do a lot of jumping or lunging because of bad knees.
