Don't Forget Lower Back!

This is a Body Sculpting pattern from (pattern 2615)

After doing abs, I will work lower back for balance

Using a step,place a towel on top of it, lie face down with your feet overhanging and clutching the short end, your upper torso extends beyond the other end of the step.

Hands behind head, drop the upper torso down towards the floor then lift it back up. Take everything down and up in one piece, don't just drop the head. (The front of your foot on the short end will hold you in place)

This is an advanced move because of the added resistance of dropping the torso. You may have a student with a short torso, and their ribs will dig into the end of the step as they try to drop down and up. For them they should just do this flat on a mat, or have the whole upper torso on the step and legs hanging off the other end. Just lift upper torso and lower.

Do some half tempos and singles. It really works!
