Tea's Kewl & Meticulous Hi-Lo

This is a Hi/Lo pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 2769)

Pattern A: (32 counts)

  1. Right diagonal march for 3; left knee up and 2 repeater knees (8)
  2. Left march for 3 (travel back); right knee up and 2 repeater knees (8)
  3. Step-touch x 1, right repeater knees x 3 (8)
  4. Step-touch x 3, tap left out and in x 1 (8)

Now repeat Pattern A beginning with left lead

Pattern B: (32 counts)

  1. Right grapevine and turn (facing back); left chasse (8)
  2. Right grapevine and turn (facing front); left chasse (8)
  3. Pony x 4 (travelling forward) (8)
  4. Twist for 8 counts (travelling back) (8)

Now repeat Pattern B beginnig with left lead

Pattern C: (32 counts)

  1. Jump to a squat (2 counts) and shimmy forwards for 6 counts (8)
  2. Still in a squat position, right march travelling back for 8 counts (8) For the 8th count I prefer to jump!
  3. Right march wide for 3 counts and left tap in; alternate x 2 (8)
  4. Step-touch x 4 (8)
I call Pattern C a floating pattern! because you can do it at the beginning or end with it. You will see!

Shimmy = very low hops. Feet barely leave the floor.

Chasse: You can convert it to a shuffle for a variation
