Kim's Triple Step Option
This is a
Double Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 2096)
Steps are vertical, two riser lengths apart. Leave last two steps on end of row empty
for last person. Everyone shares a step, three steps per person will be used. Steps
are 1, 2, and 3 starting from left. Start is at left of step 1, right lead. Explanations
for unfamiliar steps are at end.
Block 1
- Turnstep X 2 (8)
- Peg leg X 2 (4)
- Over stop and switch to #2 (4)
- Inside loop (8)
- Repeater knee straddle on #2 (8)
Block 2
- Four corners (16)
- Kick X 2 on #2 (8)
- Jumping jack X 2 on floor (4)
- Over top of #3 step (4)
Block 3
- A-step, knee hop turn to other side (all on #3 step) (8)
- Take a hike to #2, over top and switch to #1 (8)
- Rock straddle, to top and exit to left of #1 (8)
- Scissor kick over and back of #1 step (8)
Block 4
- 8-count L-step, turn and switch to #2 end of bench (facing right wall)
- Heel dig X 2 (8)
- Cross top (long) X 4 (or cross, squat, cross, squat) (16)
Block 5
- Kick travel X 2 (using end #2, end #1, return to end #2) (8)
- Cross top (long) #2, turn and switch on floor, cross top (long) #1, turn and
switch on floor, returning to end of #2 (8)
- Repeater knee X 1 on end of #2 (8)
- Take a hike to #3, over top (8)
Ready to start from #3, left lead.
- Inside loop: Turnstep, switch, turnstep, switch (will be back on step you started
from).
- Four corners: Ham travel inside corners of #2, switch to #3, ham travel from
back corner to front corner, switch back to #2.
- Take a hike: Step, step, step ball change (this step automatically changes your
lead leg, 4 counts total).
- Scissor kick over and back: Like an over the top but outside leg comes over back
of lead leg and steps down on other side of bench, repeat back with opposite
lead.
Lots of fun with a little different flavor from just double stepping. Email for
questions. Have a great day!
