I have completed all 10 patterns in my intermediate-advanced step classes, using a 45-minute step tape.

Some of you may notice that I have included some of your patterns to complete this step class. I want to thank all of you for your great patterns. Thanks to web site, I am never at a loss to come up with choreography for my step classes.

Pattern #2:
For a smooth flow of this pattern, after executing the right lead v-step, face left wall and do the alternating knee lifts 3x straddling the step. When you do the 3rd knee lift, add a little hop so that you can face the front mirror and begin the two shooters.

Shooter: right lead: up right, up left, lunge right, lunge left, down right, down left.

Pattern #3:
Around the World: Regular around the world would be step right, left ham curl, straddle left down, right down, then left foot up, right ham curl, now facing back wall, travel to left corner of step, step right, left ham curl, straddle down left, right down, step left, right ham curl. 1/2 of around the world would be step right, left ham curl, straddle down left, down right, step up left, right ham curl.

Pattern #6:
Flamingo: right lead: step right, left knee lifts, step down left, right foot straddles down (on mirror side of step), left foot up, right foot up, left foot down (on back side of step), right foot down (on back side of step). Remember that you will exit this 8 count flamingo move on the same side of the step that you start on.

Pattern #7:
3 alternating hamcurls travelling, then, over turn: Some of the instructors on this web site call the over turn the "boomerang". I will try to explain. Facing front mirror, on right corner of step, step left, right ham curl, then travel to left corner of step, step right, left ham curl, then travel to right corner of step, left foot, right ham curl, THEN, travel to left corner, go over (NO TAPPING) right foot, left foot, step down right foot, then step down left foot. When you step down on that final right foot, then left foot, get ready to face back wall. Now facing back wall, continue this pattern. Now you should be on the left corner - facing back wall - step right foot, left ham curl, travel to right corner - step left foot, right ham curl, travel to left corner - step right foot, left ham curl, THEN travel to right corner, go over (remember no tapping) left foot, then right foot. Remember when stepping down with that final left foot, then right foot, you will be ready to start same pattern with the two left diagonal basic steps - facing front. This combo flows beautifully when executed correctly. Any questions, email me. My participants love this pattern!!

Pattern #9:
1/2 of an L Step is one knee lift.
