Confusion at first!

This is a Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 2565)

The final product first: To break this move down instruct you class that they will "walk" into the first 16 counts of the pattern. Note the transition between the first basic and the V-step left: when stepping down from the basic lift you left knee and then step up into the V-step left. Do the same for the left lead. You will then just "walk" into the single knee and charleston kick combo part, no taps!! When introducing the pivot turn, do a "mambo" first, then introduce the pivot turn as an option. My class loves this move and it's moves really well once they get it. Do it to a good funky step tape.
