Leveling Out Your Step

This is a Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 3626)

Here's a different type of step class that works for all levels and intensities...(It is easy to teach, since there are really no combos, just the steps.)

I do a step class where I work the basic steps in 3 levels:

Here's an example of how I teach it:
I start with basic step right level 1 8x, then basic step left level 1 8x. Then I go back to basic right and show level 2 8x, then I switch to left side. then I go back to basic right and show level 3 8x, then switch to left. Then I have class choose the level for 2 sets of 8x on each side.

Then I do it all over again with the V-step: level 1, then level 2 and finally level 3. And so on with all the different basic moves.

This is class based on intensity: level 1 is moderate, level 2 is somewhat hard, level 3 is heavy...

It's a great class to do with mixed abilities, since participants can choose to pick and stay with the level they feel most comfortable with. While there is no real combos, this class really works em! I've done it with both beginners and more advanced and all were sweating.. It also works well as an interval class...

Gosh... I hope it makes sense. If not, email me with any questions, comments or tips... Enjoy :)
