Fun With Props
This is a
Cycling pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 3275)
Incorporating props into your workout adds variety, sets a fun mood,
and keeps your participants in suspense. A simple fanny pack holds
your props and keeps them hidden.
Here are a few ides for props that are cheap & easy to find:
Simulating Weather Conditions:
- Rain - water gun
- Hail or snow - miniature marshmallows
- Nightime - turn lights in room off
- Daytime - turn lights in room on
- Wind - small battery operated hand-held fan
Obstacles:
- Trees - branch from a tree, weed from your garden
- Rock - small stone
- Pot Hole - small cooking pot (Fisher Price works well)
Set a Mood or Scene:
- Telling a scary story - turn lights off & shine flashlight
on your face
- Use hats: (baseball cap can be made into any type of hat)
- Firemans - firetruck racing to the scene
- Policeman - pursuit, cops & robbers
- Helmet - race car driver
The possibilities are endless......... Use your imagination!
