Rolldowns (wow!)

This is a Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 3159)

This patterns takes easy basic moves and mixes them up using 'rolldown' cueing.

First give your class numbers--row one, row two, row three, row four, (if you have more than four rows, start numbering again with one.

Next..take your whole class through the basic moves..

Have your class hold a up tap down tap pattern (4) While you cue them. You will have all rows starting every 4 counts and your rows will be going opposite of each other for a cool Ice capades effect.

After all rows have been doing over the top for a bit change

Then add your A-step.

Classes love to do this because the moves are ultra simple but the effect is interesting. Make sure you start your first row (which should contain you) on the start of a music phrase.

Try adding in traveling alternate knees (kicks etc..any 4 count move)

You can also do around the world straddle the same way.. by cuing rows 8 counts apart instead of four.

If you are confused mail me..

Thanks for looking
