Triple dip anyone ?
This is a
Cycling pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 3223)
Both arms are in a corner grip - resistance 40 - 60% depending
on the music tempo.
Dip: just like a push up except your elbows are out to the side
- Start with regular dips (down and up = 2 counts) repeat 16
times
- Then show the option of a triple dip (go down, 2, 3 and then
come up) repeat 8 times (each triple dip = 4 counts)
- If your students don't want to do these they can do regular
dips which still look neat because some people will be up and
down at different times
- Then 8 regular dips, 4 triple dips (do this twice)
- Then 4 regular dips, 2 triple dips (do this four times)
- Then 2 regular dips, 1 triple dip (do this eight times)
After you can switch lead legs and repeat on the other side in
order or reverse the order (2 regular, 1 triple, 4 regular,
2 triple ...)
