Booty Boxing!

This is a BoxAerobics pattern from (pattern 4576)

This is a 32 count combo that will take you to all 4 sides of the room.

Starting position: Facing the front, feet shoulder width apart, knees slightly bent, arms in pyramid, abs tight

Now you are ready to go again. You can continue on the "right lead" until you face the mirror again, or you can switch to a "left lead" and it will take you back to the mirror immediately.

As for breaking this down, try teaching the first and second 8 counts together, then boxer shuffle for 16 to take you back to the top of the phrase. Then teach the third and fourth 8 counts together. Once they have these, try putting them into the 32 count combo as described above.

I find that this is a nice change of pace between kicking, punching, and conditioning drills. My class seem to like it. Oh yeah, to make this even more fun, have them yell on certain moves, kicks, jabs, or whatever seems natural. "HUH, HIHA, GO, and HIT" are some of my personal faves!!!
