Jackie's Keep 'em Sweating

This is a Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 4602)

Here's a routine I've been using this week. I've adopted some moves from Kathy Z and added them to my routine. In addition, I'm going to adopt Kathy Z's "home"/north/south/east and west terminology for the 4 walls and your starting place. This is not a beginners class.

Part 1

Repeat with left lead

Wide Pushes (from Kathy Z)

L-step ...:

2-peater glute squeeze:

6-count turn:

Part 2

Repeat with left lead

Right V-step on and off the step:

Knee-Push-Lunge (also adopted from Kathy Z):
(in this pattern you are now on the north side facing south, so I'll describe this move from this perspective)

I start by teaching a repeater knee and showing the option.

Part 3

Repeat with left lead

Up up tap squat - 3 alt lunges:

Part 4

Squat walk walk:

Repeat one more time. You will travel forward with these.

Jack walk walk:

Chug corner to corner:
The count for a chug goes 1 and 2, 3, 4. "1 and 2" are like a pony or cha-cha-cha.

To teach, have the class do turnsteps, then show the chugs.

Part 5

Repeat with left lead

Repeater knee with hop turn:

Pendulum (you'll face east for entire move):
