Start on the right lead:
- 4 Step touch (8)
- Grapevine (right, left) (8)
- 4 Step touch (8)
- Grapevine (right, left) (8) (remind your class to
stay close to their step)
- 2 Basic lefts (8)
- 4 Heels on the bench (8)
- 2 Basic lefts (8)
- 4 Toes on the bench (8)
- 4 Alternate squats (left, right) (16)
- Traveling squats (2 left, 2 right) (8)
- Repeat traveling squats (8)
- Repeater right knee (8)
- Repeater left knee (8)
- Repeater right ham (8)
- Repeater left ham (8)
- 4 V-steps right (16)
- Tap change
- 4 V-steps left (16)
32 counts of reaching and lunging
REPEAT LEFT - I usually change the repeaters to inner and
outer thigh when repeating.
Stretch
I usually have to repeat this twice on each lead leg to get
about 8 minutes in. My class has really enjoyed this warm-up.
