Note: skip step is a shuffle. (where I teach kickboxing, we all use the same terminology as per the club rules.)

I usually feel out the class to see how many times to repeat a move. especially a kicking combo. If they look like they can handle it, I repeat the kicks a few more times. If they are dying, I throw in a punching combo to even them out, then go back to the kicks!!!!
