12 Days of Christmas
This is an
Aquatic pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 6012)
I enjoy this web site and utilize it often, so I wanted to
contribute some holiday cheer. This is a water routine, and I
used it interval style to introduce each "day" of
Christmas, then linked them all together at the end. Of course,
singing by the instructor is optional!
- On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me one
power cross country ski.
- On the second day of Christmas my true love gave to me two
cheerleaders.
- On the third day of Christmas my true love gave to me
three knee lifts.
- On the fourth day of Christmas my true love gave to me
four hamstring curls.
- On the fifth day of Christmas my true love gave to me
five golden rings (run in circles)
- On the sixth day of Christmas my true love gave to me six
bunnies hopping.
- On the seventh day of Christmas my true love gave to me
seven legs a kicking.
- On the eighth day of Christmas my true love gave to me
eight horses rocking.
- On the ninth day of Christmas my true love gave to me
nine jacks a jumping.
- On the tenth day of Christmas my true love gave to me
ten frogs a leaping.
- On the eleventh day of Christmas my true love gave to
me eleven pendulums swinging.
- On the twelfth day of Christmas my true love gave to
me twelve swimmers treading.
As I mentioned, we did each day as a one minute interval then
recovered for one minute. After I introduced all of the days, we
did the whole song from the top, and spent about fifteen seconds
on each day. Everyone loved it, and we were all dying at the
end. Let me know if you try it, I'm excited to get any feedback.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
