C's ball of fun

This is an Aquatic pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 6057)

You will need approximately 8 pound medicine balls for aquatics.

I usually do this with my class once a week. Incorpaorate it into your routine. I usually tell the class to circle up after a good cardio work out.

Have the class form a circle in groups of six.

Have them throw the ball to each other over and catching under without having the ball splash the water. Have them throw the ball in one direction for about 4 times (while jogging in place) and then switch directions.

Then have them push the ball underneath the water to the person next to them going around 4 times then switch direction (while jogging in place) Even get them to push the ball to the person diagnal from them.

Depending on the size of your circle if you have more than 6 in a circle formation incorporate 2-3 more balls that way they are not at a stand still.

This is is good for coordination, biceps and triceps.

It's fun try it.
