Aquatic Kickboxing (part 1 - kicking combos)

This is an Aquatic pattern from (pattern 4070)

This is so much fun that even the participants who quietly come and go are yelling "Kee Ya" and working harder than ever. Some of these are from Tae Bo and I've modified them slightly to work in the water.

Music between 128 and 134 BPM works well.

Snap kicks to the front -

Billy Jacks (taken from Tae Bo's Billy Blanks - also on the Psycho Circus entry on BoxAerobics page) -

I like to encourage them on that side kick and to my surprise, they really do have nice, loud voices.

Side kicks with blocks -

Knee kick combo (Another one adapted from Tae Bo) -

Put these together and cue it: knee, knee, side kick punch. Do 4 sets then switch legs.

I hope you enjoy these. Kicking combos together with the boxing combos in part 2 are a great workout and my classes love them.
