Sparing Attack

This is a BoxAerobics pattern from (pattern 4081)

Have your students team up facing each other. Two students to a Team. They must keep their distance. They are going to do a 2 Minute Round. They will start the round leading with the right foot, then 1 minute into the round you will blow your whistle and have then lead with the left foot. You can remind them the right foot is opposite the left.

Starting position: fighting Stance, both arms up in blocking, left foot leads.

Repeat this combo, keying kick, jab, block, smash!

They are to visualize the opponent coming towards them. As the opponent gets closer to the the required action is taken.

After one minute leading with the left foot, have them switch leading legs and reverse the combo from the other side.

Is is done best to mid tempo music aroung 132 count.
Remember 1 minute on each side.
