Texas Straddle
This is a
Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 4100)
Step is horizontal.
Combo 1:
- Basic right x2 (8)
- 1/2 L-step off to the left (4)
- Step touch x 2 with a turn (4) you are now facing the back
of the room.
- Alternate kicks to the corner (8)
- Inverted V (4) this will take to back to where you started
- Step knee (4)
Repeat left
Combo 2:
- Cross over cha-cha-cha to the left and to the right (8)
- Step touch x 2 with a turn (4)
- Grapevine-this will be done in FRONT of the bench with your
back to the bench (4)
- Step touch x 2 with a turn (4)
- Alternate V-step left and right (8)
- 1 Mambo on step (4) now you are ready to start with the
left leg
Repeat left
Combo 3:
- V-step right wide on bench (2) stay on top
- Hop together (2) stay on top
- Alternate lunge x 4 and exit (10)
- 1 Jumping jack on floor (2)
- Step hop turn straddle leading with left leg (4)
- Step knee straddle x 2 and exit to the front (8)
- 1 Tap up or hop and clap (4) You will be facing the back
of the room ready to start with the left leg.
Repeat left.
