Work the Traps!

This is a Body Sculpting pattern from (pattern 4174)

Have your class kneel on the floor, with the chest resting on the left or right knee, the other leg resting on the floor at a 90 degree angle. Have the class extend their arms overhead, looking at the floor, position the arms at 11:00 o'clock and 1:00 o'clock. Cue them to lift the thumbs up and work the upper traps. Pulse to 8 count, and then move the arms to 10:00 o'clock and 2:00 o'clock - pulse 8 count. Finally hit the middle trapezius at 9:00 o'clock and 3:00 o'clock. Then run it through one more time. This looks easy to start but quickly fatigues the muscle groups and is effective and quick to teach if time is running short.
